Client call kit
Call clients on WhatsApp even when they don't have WhatsApp. Setup steps, invite messages you can copy, and a checklist for a sales or consult call. From @mayorscript.
Set it up (4 steps)
- Open WhatsApp on your phone and go to the Calls tab.
- Tap the + and choose create a call link.
- Send the link to your client by email or text.
- Your client opens it in their computer browser, types their name and waits. You let them in from the waiting room.
If you don't see the call link option yet, the feature may not have reached your app. Meta hasn't published a rollout date, so keep WhatsApp updated and check again in a few days.
What you should know first
- Your client doesn't need a WhatsApp account and doesn't install anything.
- Meta's post says guests join from a computer browser. Don't promise it works on their phone.
- Only people with WhatsApp can create the link, so you start the call.
- Every guest waits in a waiting room until you let them in. You can remove anyone at any time.
- Guests can't see phone numbers, can't send messages and can't add other people.
- Up to 32 people. Guests can share their computer screen, react and raise a hand.
- Meta calls it free, end-to-end encrypted, with no time limits.
- Google and Outlook calendar plugins are coming "later this year", per Meta. They aren't live yet.

Invite message: text
Hi [name], here's the link for our call at [time]: [paste call link]. Open it on your computer browser and type your name. No WhatsApp needed. I'll let you in as soon as you arrive.
Reminder: 10 minutes before
Quick reminder: we're on in 10 minutes. Same link: [paste call link]. Use your computer, not your phone.
Checklist for a sales or consult call
- Before: test the link yourself from a laptop browser so you know what your client will see.
- Before: have your price list, quote or demo open and ready to share, so you don't fumble on the call.
- Start: only let in the names you expect. If someone you don't know is waiting, leave them out.
- During: say the price and the next step out loud, then ask "does that work for you?"
- After: send a short follow-up the same day with what you agreed, the price and the date.
