How I made the AI police skit
The whole bodycam skit, from the cop's knock to the car taking off, was made with AI: the picture, the voices, the sound effects. Here are the tools, the exact prompts and the tricks, so you can make your own. From @mayorscript.
What I used
- Higgsfield (higgsfield.ai), one account that gives you many AI image and video models.
- GPT Image 2.5 on Higgsfield, for the first frame.
- Seedance 2.5 on Higgsfield, for the video. It writes the voices, footsteps and engine noise itself, in sync with the picture.
- My own cloned voice (ElevenLabs) for the line at the end, and a simple editor to add captions.
Step 1: make the first frame
Video models keep the look much better when you give them a starting picture. Describe the camera (here, a police bodycam), the place, the light and the people. Say what you don't want: no logos, no text.
Settings: aspect ratio 9:16 (vertical), quality high. I made two versions and kept the better one.
Step 2: bring it to life, with the dialogue
Pick the frame as the start image, then write the scene like a film script: who speaks, how they sound, and what happens between the lines. Ask for natural sound only, so it doesn't add music.
Settings: Seedance 2.5, 16 seconds, 9:16, audio on. Turn on draft first: it renders a cheap low-resolution version, and you only pay for the full 1080p version of the take you like.
Step 3: finish it
- Watch every draft with the sound on. Keep the one where the lines land and the timing is funny. Comedy lives in the pauses.
- Finalize that draft at 1080p.
- Add captions, because most people watch with the sound off, and a short title on top ("Pulling over the new Roadster:").
- Label it as AI. A realistic fake bodycam video can fool people. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube all ask you to mark realistic AI content, and an "AI skit" tag on screen keeps it honest.
Tricks that made the difference
- Start from a picture, not just text. The car, the driver and the light stay the same for the whole clip.
- Write the dialogue with speaker names and how they sound. "OFFICER (firm, tired)" gets you a better voice than "a cop says".
- Keep it under 20 seconds, with one joke and one twist. Short skits get replayed, and replays push them further.
- Ask for no logos and no text. AI-made brand logos can get your video flagged, and made-up text looks fake.
- Draft first. Drafts cost a fraction of a final render, so you can try 2 or 3 takes.
